Day of Action
Welcome to the PHPN Day of Action
1–3 p.m. PDT
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association is excited to kick off the 2025 PH Professional Network Symposium with the inaugural PHPN Day of Action. The PHPN Day of Action includes two activities: an advocacy workshop and community engagement project. Participate in the PHPN Day of Action to be a voice for your patients and give back to the local Seattle community.
Advocacy Workshop
Get the tools to take immediate action for your patients and influence the policies that affect them during the PHPN Day of Action Advocacy Workshop.
During the one-hour workshop, PHA's treatment access and program manager, Jaeger Spratt, will review the legislative process, PHA's current priority bills and ways that you can be involved with PHA advocacy efforts. After Spratt's presentation, participants will put their new skills to practice by contacting elected officials about legislation that impacts the PH community.
Two time slots for the workshop will be offered, and space is limited at each. Secure your place by signing up for the Advocacy Workshop during the symposium registration process.
Community Engagement Project
PHA is committed to giving back to both the PH community and the Seattle area. Begin or complete your Day of Action by working alongside other health care professionals to build dog and cat toys during the 2025 PHPN Community Engagement Project. Each toy takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes to create; stay as long as you like to complete the project! All toys will be donated to animals in need at local shelters.
